Programs

WYTEC programs are designed to offer quality entrepreneurship and technology training to youth and adult participants. The WYTEC learning model provides an innovative approach to after-school programs where young people explore their own interests and become confident learners through the use of technology.

Our adult programs provide financial, entrepreneurship, and computer proficiency for the acquisition of skills in our information driven society.

Participants will develop or improve career aspirations and professional choices.

Entrepreneurship Education

WYTEC is member of the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education. Our entrepreneurship program opens the world of business ownership in fields ranging from manufacturing to service industries by providing supportive training in career planning, work maturity and financial literacy. Our participants are engaged in hands-on activities including the development of business plans, surveys, research, and marketing.

Intel Computer Clubhouse

WYTEC is one of four Clubhouses in Chicago…one of 125 in the world!

The Intel Computer Clubhouse introduces careers in computer-based design, music production, game development, robotics, computer programming, and a host of others technological fields. The Intel Computer Clubhouse features a best practice career development program: Clubhouse-to-College/Clubhouse-to-Career (C2C) Program. We measure achievement through participants’ portfolios, comments from mentors, actual student work products, instruments youth have completed as part of C2C, and participation in internships. The Clubhouse is open to youth after school.

Beyond Four Walls

Enhance education beyond traditional classroom learning. Enhance education beyond traditional classroom learning. On-site programs are provided to community schools and organizations through our Reaching Beyond for Four Walls field trip opportunity.

Students will learn the art of technology with hands on graphic design, video production, music production and entrepreneurship education at WYTEC.

Or, we will bring the Intel Computer Clubhouse to YOUR school or organization at no cost!

If you are a parent, student, teacher, or school administrator who is interested, please contact us for more details.
